GCEDC TO CONDUCT ANNUAL MEETING AND UNVEIL 2018 REPORT

2019 Annual Meeting theme is “Investing in Our Strongest Assets”

The Genesee County Economic Development Center (GCEDC) will conduct its annual meeting and unveil the agency’s 2018 report on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Batavia Downs Gaming and Hotel.
The theme of the annual meeting is “Investing in Our Strongest Assets”. The event will emphasize the GCEDC’s workforce talent development and shovel-ready site development achievements, and thank the partners involved in those efforts. Also to be announced is the annual “Partner of the Year” award.
“We have a number of partners from both the public and private sector, so this event allows us to recognize our achievements while showing our appreciation for those who are powering a vibrant future for Genesee County,” said Paul Battaglia, Chairman of the GCEDC Board of Directors.
“Highlighting the incredible investments into our infrastructure and workforce development currently happening in Genesee County was a natural choice for this year’s theme,” said GCEDC President and CEO Steve Hyde. “Genesee County has an abundance of resources, the most important of which is our people. We’re making great strides to prepare our community, most notably with our younger residents, to meet the demands of the ever-changing workplace.”
