WNY GOP Leaders Meet in Batavia Re: NY 27th

Republicans talk in Batavia tonight about the next candidate for the race to the 27th Congressional District.
GOP party chairs will be working on a way to replace Congressman Chris Collins on the November ballot at a meeting at Batavia Downs this evening.
Genesee County GOP Chairman Richard Siebert said he knows of 15 potential candidates, however he thinks his local Assemblyman in Batavia fits the bill the best….
Siebert said he was unsure whether Collins name would be taken off the ballot but it would be critical to have a strong candidate on the ticket to take his place.
