Man wanted for assault with a truck may be in Batavia

According to the U.S. Marshall’s Office a man accused of running over his ex-wife multiple times with his truck and seriously injuring her last week could be in the Batavia or Albion area.
Crime Stoppers Buffalo is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of Shane Hescox.
He is 5’ 11”, 190-pounds, white with neck tattoos and tattoos on his fingers.
Hescox has known ties to Batavia and Albion according to investigators along with a violent criminal history.
He is wanted by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office and the Marshall’s Service and is facing a charge of second degree Assault.

Authorities remind citizens that they should not attempt to apprehend him but to call law enforcement immediately.
