Bergen man faces indictment for alleged sexual abuse of children.
24 year old Colin Wickings has been indicted by a Genesee County Grand jury on five counts accusing him of sexually abusing two children.
He has been indicted on three counts of Sexual Abuse in the first degree and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child for his alleged sexual contact with a 9 year old girl and a 6 year old boy.
Wickings is accused of committing the abuse around the end of June or early July in 2016 in the Town of Bergen.

Investigation into possible hit and run in Batavia ends with a Tennessee man behind bars.
33 year old Jeffery Rogers of Knoxville Tennessee was arrested on West Main Street in the city for speeding in a speed zone following police investigation into a possible hit and run accident.
Rogers and was accused of driving while intoxicated and was allegedly in possession of pot.
He was charged with Aggravated DWI along with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a motor vehicle and was committed in lieu of 25-hundred dollars bail to the County Jail.

A Batavia man accused of forcible touching.
Batavia Police arrested 54 year old David Barton of Ellicott Street in the city for an alleged incident which occurred last month at an Ellicott Street apartment.
Barton allegedly forced unwanted contact and touched a female inappropriately without her consent.
Barton was arraigned and then released with an appearance ticket.

An Alexander man indicted for first degree rape.
A Grand Jury Indictment has been handed down to 50 year old Domingo Gomez-Gomez of Alexander accusing him of first degree Rape, a class B violent felony and Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, class D felony.
Gomez-Gomez allegedly committed the sex crime towards the end of April and in early May of this year he was allegedly found in possession of a forged US Social Security card.

Genesee County Grand Jury indicts an Oakfield man allegedly responsible for a serious accident in Corfu that left four people injured.
24 year old Jacob Szumigala of Orchard Park Road in Oakfield was arrested in April following a three vehicle accident on Route 33 in Corfu.
He was accused of driving recklessly while operating a 2008 Hyundai Sonata and endangering others, causing serious physical injury.
He has been indicted on felony charges of aggravated vehicular assault, vehicular assault in the both the 1st and 2nd degree along with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Aggravated DWI for operating with a suspended license and having a BAC over twice the legal limit.

GCEDC considering tax incentives for Six Flags and Amada Tool.
Six Flags Darien Lake is asking for $166,000 in sales tax exemption to build a new $2.15 million ride that is scheduled to open next year.
Amada Tool in Batavia is seeking tax exemptions of approximately $266,000 for an $8.8 million project to add 19,000 sq. ft. to their manufacturing facility. The expansion is expected to create 17 new jobs.
