Report of stabbing in the city ends with one person in custody.
City Police have brought one suspect in for questioning after chasing him around the Swan and Ellicott Street neighborhood following report of a possible stabbing in the area.
Police reported shortly before midnight last night that an officer was in pursuit of a bald, black male, in a blue jacket while an individual threatened to kill somebody.
A few minutes later an ambulance was requested to the area for a subject who sustained stab wounds however they were never treated as the apparent stabbing victim had left the scene with another individual while police were chasing the alleged perpetrator.
The suspect briefly evaded police but ended up returning to the basement of the residence where the alleged stabbing took place.
Shortly after midnight he was then taken into custody as he was spotted trying to escape out of a basement window.
He has yet to be charged because the alleged victim was not available to be interviewed and was instead taken back to the station for questioning.
Investigation into incident continues.

Daughter of Retired Army General from Batavia accuses him of rape and incest.
47 year old Jennifer Elmore of Virginia, estranged daughter of Maj. Gen. James Grazioplene told the Washington Post, she remembered being sexually abused when she was only 3 years old at her grandmother’s house in LeRoy.
The 69 year old retired Army general has been accused by his daughter of sexual abuse that started when she was a toddler and continued into her high school years.
Grazioplene was born in Batavia, attended Notre Dame High School, and was nominated to attend West Point,
Grazioplene may have avoided a court-martial due to a statute of limitations, but he was arrested on December 7th following an indictment by a grand jury in Prince William County, Virginia, on multiple counts of rape and incest.

A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted Antwan Odom on a charge of first degree assault.
Odom is accused of using a knife to attack Batavia High School classmate and football star Ray Leach last August.
Leach went on to lead the Blue Devils to the state finals.

A large portion of his comments directed criticism at President Trump, blasting him for not investing in New York infrastructure and accusing him of advancing hateful and racist rhetoric.

State Police arrest a Jamestown man for sex offense in Elba.
Troopers arrested 20 year old Garrett Scott on a Felony count of Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors.
He was released on his own recognizance while investigation into the incident continues.

The Buffalo Sabres will look for a second straight win tonight.
They’re hosting the Florida Panthers at KeyBank Center.
Buffalo is currently in second place in the Atlantic Division, seven points behind the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Face off tonight is set for seven o’clock.
