Body found at Hamlin Beach.
Police have yet to identify a body found at Hamlin Beach State Park.
Lawmen were in the area yesterday on the lookout for 47 year old Margaret DeGraff who went missing last Wednesday.
She was last seen at her workplace, Villa of Hope in Rochester.
Police say they are waiting for autopsy results to find out if DeGraff is the individual they found.
Investigators are said to likely rule out foul play in the person’s death.

A Canadian man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash in LeRoy.
22 year old Andray P. Bair of Thorold, Ontario is facing a charge of Vehicular Manslaughter.
Police say Bair was drunk at the time he struck a house at 79 Clay Street.
A passenger in Bair’s vehicle, 22 year old Handel Jamal Love also of Canada was killed.
Bair is now in the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

CPS visit leads to arrest for a couple on Chestnut Street.
41 year old Timothy Eastridge and 30 year old Stephanie Hartgrove both of Chestnit Street in the city were arrested following a home visit by Child Protective Services last Friday.
Eastridge was accused of smoking pot and illegally possessing a 22 caliber rifle while in close proximity to his children while Hartgrove allowed him to do drugs in-front of their kids.
City Police took both into custody on counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Eastridge was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
Both were issued appearance tickets returnable to Batavia City Court.

A Boston resident busted for drunk driving after an accident on the thruway.
47 year old Josselyn Scott of Back Creek Road in Boston New York was taken into custody by City Police on a felony count of DWI for having a prior conviction within the past ten years along with Drinking Alcohol in a motor vehicle.
Scott was reportedly apprehended on Oak Street as she was observed sitting in a parking lot with her vehicle running.
She had allegedly left the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the Thruway.
Scott was remanded without bail to the Genesee County Jail to await her next court appearance.

City Police alert local business owners of counterfeit currency making the rounds.
Batavia Police have had reports of some counterfeit bills showing up throughout the city.
They encourage business owners to check the bills.
These bills look good but have “This is a replica” listed toward the bottom of Alexander Hamilton’s head and also on the reverse side toward the bottom of the US Treasury Building.

Lawmakers in the Senate and Assembly have laid out their positions on this year’s state budget.
Plans revealed yesterday show they’re divided with Governor Cuomo on issues like recreational marijuana legalization, a ban on single-use plastic bags and taxing opioids.
They also rejected the criminal justice reforms the governor is demanding be part of any final agreement.
The end of the state’s fiscal year is March 31st.
