Child saved from drowning in Bethany as a Woman faces endangerment charge.
Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the campground on Francis Road in Bethany Saturday afternoon for investigation into a child that was resuscitated after an apparent drowning incident.
Deputies took 37 year old Crystal Kiebzak of Main Street Wyoming into custody and charged her with a count of Reckless Endangerment in 2nd degree after investigating at the scene.
Kiebzak is expected to appear in Bethany Town Court on July 16th to answer the charge.

Firefighters rescued two people yesterday stuck in the Tonawanda Creek after having some serious trouble with their canoe.

Along with East Pembroke, Town of Batavia Fire, and Gary Patnode, head of the county’s rope rescue team, responded.
24 year old John Young of Basom and 20 year old Kaleigh Kasteli of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania were secured by ropes and life vests provided by volunteer fire crews who pulled them safely to shore.
There were no injuries reported the incident.

Charges pending in a one car rollover.
Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a reported accident on Klossen road in Alabama Yesterday afternoon.
According to the initial investigation the one car accident was the result of the driver traveling at a high rate of speed and losing control at which time he hit the shoulder and ditch where his vehicle overturned landing right side up.
Lawmen say Austin Knott of Middleport has charged pending.

Senator Chuck Schumer is issuing a warning about electronic cigarettes.
The New York Democrat says e-cigs with potentially dangerous chemicals inside are showing up in the United States.
He’s now calling on the government to take action and prevent an emergency health crisis.
Schumer is suggesting the feds crackdown on illegal online sales and work harder to detect illegal shipments.
He also said hundreds of fake e-cigarettes on their way to New York were recently seized.
