A crash in Orleans County that left three people dead continues to be investigated by State Troopers.
According to State Police the accident occurred on Route 63 in Shelby Saturday morning when a southbound U-Haul van apparently crossed the northbound lane and struck a pickup truck.
Both the van and the truck reportedly left the roadway and caught fire.
Police have identified 80 year old Charles Stevens and 57 year old Jeffrey Johnson, who were occupants of the U-Haul truck as deceased.
The pickup truck driver’s identity has yet to be released.
A Batavia woman busted for illegally possessing a shotgun and endangerment.
City Police report the arrest of 52 year old Patsy Rapone of Meadowcrest Drive following investigation into a domestic incident.
Rapone, who is a convicted felon was allegedly found illegally possessing a shotgun and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon and additionally was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child after an investigation into an incident late last month at a Meadowcrest Drive address.
She was released under supervision of Genesee Justice with appearance tickets for City Court on October 17th.
Two arrested for aggravated drinking and driving in Genesee County over the weekend.
Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 34 year old Stephen King of Rochester Saturday night following a traffic stop on Lake St in Bergen. King was charged with Aggravated DWI for having a blood alcohol content over twice the legal limit and will appear in Bergen town court on October 30th.
48 year old Jeremy Carlson of Sumner Road in Darien Center was arrested after a stop on Pearl Street in the City after several allegedly speeding and failing to keep right.
He was charged with Aggravated DWI along with Drinking Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle on a Public Highway and was ultimately released with an appearance ticket for City Court on October 23rd.
Counselors will be on hand in the Brockport Central School District today to help students and staff mourn the death of a teacher.
Monroe County deputies say 46 year old Carolyn Ray was struck by a pickup truck while riding her bike on Sweden Walker Road in Clarkson Saturday.
Ray was rushed to the hospital but died hours later of her injuries.
Police say the pickup truck driver wasn’t hurt and drugs and alcohol don’t appear to be factors in the tragedy.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
It wasn’t easy, but the Buffalo Bills are back on the winning track.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen returned from injury to throw a pair of touchdowns in Buffalo’s 14 to seven road win against the Tennessee Titans.
Duke Williams ended up with the game-winning score with less than 10 minutes left in regulation.
The Bills are now four-and-one on the season.
Up next, they host the winless Miami Dolphins at New Era Field on October 20th.
