Primary Elections on September 13

There will be a countywide Democratic and Reform Party primary election on Thursday, September 13, 2018. Only Democratic enrolled voters can vote in the Democratic Primary. In the Reform Party primary, per Reform Party Rules, all Reform Party, Other and No party voters are eligible.

There is a Republican primary only in the Town of Bethany on Thursday, September 13, 2018. Only enrolled Republican voters can vote in this Republican primary.

Polls open at 12:00 PM and close at 9:00 PM.

The last day to register in person at the Genesee County Board of Elections, which is located on the 3rd floor of County Building 1, 15 Main St., Batavia NY for the September 13th primary is August 19th. Mail registrations must be postmarked by August 19th and received at Board of Elections no later than August 23rd.

Applications for absentee ballots must be postmarked by September 6, 2018. September 12, 2018 is the last day to apply in person for an absentee ballot at the Board of Elections. September 12, 2018 is the last day to post mark a primary ballot and must be received by the county board no later than September 20th. September 13th is the last day to deliver a primary ballot in person to the County Board of Elections, by close of polls.
