Rogers Edges out Bonarigo for City Court

In what is still an unofficial vote tally, it appears that Republican Durin Rogers has defeated Democrat Benjamin Bonarigo in the race for Batavia City Court Judge.

Vote totals reported by the Board of Elections at 10:30 Tuesday night gave Rogers a victory by 215 votes.
Vote Totals: Rogers: 1,662; Bonarigo 1,447
The numbers are unofficial until certified by the Board of Elections in the coming days
Rogers is the incumbent part-time City Court Judge, a position appointed by City Council.
Bonarigo, a prominent local attorney for several years, ran on the Democrat, Working Party, and Green Party Lines, Rogers ran on the Republican, Conservative and Independence Party lines.
