School Resource Officers Proposed for Three Districts

Three more Genesee County School Districts will likely have School Resource Officers this fall.
Genesee County Sheriff William Sheron has selected three deputies to become SROs in Alexander, Pavilion and Pembroke.
The school districts will pay for the SRO’s under a contract with the sheriff’s office.
The county legislature is expected to give final approval to the contracts next week.
