Shooting and Stabbing Leaves One Dead in Batavia

Batavia Police investigate shooting and stabbing on Central Ave.
One man is dead and another seriously injured in what police say is a shooting and stabbing on Central Avenue near Pringle.
We have confirmed that one of the two men taken to the hospital has died.
The incident happened just after 11:30 last night. Police have not said if the dead man was the victim of the stabbing or the shooting.
Both victims were taken to United Memorial Medical Center.
Witnesses said they heard what sounded like three shots, but that has not been confirmed by police.
