Special Weather Statement

An area of briefly heavy lake effect snow showers will move from the eastern suburbs of Buffalo into southwest Genesee and Wyoming counties. Expect a brief burst of moderate to heavy snow that lasts for 15 to 20 minutes. This will reduce the visibility to less than a half mile and result in slick spots on untreated roads.

West Seneca, East Aurora, Elma, Marilla, Warsaw, Bennington, Alden, Attica, Pavilion, Wales Center, Varysburg, Sheldon, Covington, Pike, Silver Springs, Corfu and Alexander.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time when traveling.
