Toddler Drowns in LeRoy Swimming Pool

A four year old boy is dead in what authorities are calling an apparent accidental drowning in LeRoy.
The child was found in a swimming pool in a nearby yard early this morning.
Attempts were made to revive the child who was later rushed to UMMC where he was pronounced dead.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. Deputies say that the preliminary investigation indicates an accidental drowning.
The name of the boy and any additional details are not being released.
