Two Batavia men arrested with quantity of drugs in Wyoming County

Traffic stop in Wyoming County leads to the arrest of two Batavia residents.
Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on State Route 19 at Main Street in the Village of Middlebury yesterday.
The driver was identified as 32 year old Ian Leblanc-Chatt and the passenger as 39 year old Jason Giuliani both of Batavia.
Deputies allegedly found Giulani in possession of 60 bags of heroin and Leblanc-Chatt was allegedly in possession of two bags of heroin, Suboxone and three hypodermic syringes.
Following a drug evaluation Leblanc-Chatt was also accused of driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs.
Giuliani was subsequently arrested and charged with a felony count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to sell it and jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.
Leblanc-Chatt was charged with DWAI by drugs, along with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and of a Hypodermic Instrument along with traffic infractions.
He was released to a family member and both men are due back in court on March 26th.
