Two in custody after shots fired in Thruway chase

Two subjects are in custody following a car chase on the Thruway in Batavia where shots were fired.
According to our news partner The Batavian, State Police were in pursuit of a gray Mercedes on the Thruway and then into Batavia as the vehicle exited the thruway into Town right around one o’clock this afternoon.
Shots were fired according to reports and the vehicle was tracked northbound down Kelsey Road.
Report came in that a white male subject in his late 40s, early 50s was on foot in the 83-hundred block of Kelsey Road.
A perimeter was set up on Pratt Road and a State Police helicopter was brought in to help in the manhunt.
Within about 10 minutes there were two subjects in custody between West Main Street Road and Pratt Road.
At last report Mercy medics were called to evaluate two patients at 83-64 Kelsey Road and East Pembroke Fire had shut down Kelsey Road at Route 5 and Pratt.
