United Way Day of Caring in Downtown
Written by WBTA STAFF on May 22, 2019
Today is the United Way Day of Caring in Genesee County.
There are 419 volunteers mostly donning black t-shirts working at 39 sites around the county with 39 Genesee County Companies involved for today’s Day of Caring.
Volunteers in downtown echoed a theme of giving back when asked what the Day of Caring means to them…
Volunteers kicked off early this morning with several work sites right around the WBTA studio’s including Adam Miller Toy and Bike, who repair bikes for children in need, and at Go Art where volunteers are beautifying the landscape and utilizing their artistic skills to chalk the sidewalks down Main and Bank Streets.
