Written by WBTA STAFF on January 30, 2019
Press Release:
Effective January 30, 2019 at 12:00 p.m., Wyoming County Sheriff Gregory J. Rudolph has issued a NO UNNECESSARY TRAVEL ADVISORY for all of Wyoming County. The roads are NOT closed, however; the predicted extreme weather combination of snow, wind and cold has created blizzard like conditions and travel is extremely hazardous. The visibility is very poor and near zero in prone areas along with drifted roadways. The Wyoming County Sheriff does not determine the necessity of an individual’s obligation to travel. This is an advisory only.
