The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of 37 year old Robert Villano of Oak Street in Oakfield following investigation into a reported overdose in the presence of a child.
Emergency Dispatchers received a call the morning of July 17th for an apparent drug overdose at his residence.
Medics who arrived on scene requested law enforcement to investigate.
Deputies allegedly found narcotics in plain view of a child at the residence and took Villano into custody on a count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
He was issued an appearance ticket for September 2nd in Oakfield Town Court.

Genesee County Sheriff’s deputies took 35 year old Nathan Rogers of West Seneca into custody following an incident Wednesday evening at Darien Lake during the popular Kingdom Bound Festival.
Rogers allegedly used his cell phones to take video a female juvenile who was changing in his camper while attending the festival.
He faces two counts of Unlawful Surveillance and a single count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Rogers was subsequently released with an appearance ticket for mid-August in Darien Town Court.

17 arrested at the Dierks Bentley Concert.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged nearly 20 individuals, over half of which were teenagers, with Possession of Alcohol under 21 with the intent to consume. 14 were caught with alcohol Thursday night at the Dierks Bentley Concert at Darien Lakes Performing Arts Center.
One person was charged with Trespassing. An Ontario resident was arrested for Harassment after allegedly pushing another individual.

The Genesee County Economic Development Center approved incentives for Graham Manufacturing at the board’s meeting Thursday.
Graham Manufacturing is investing over one million dollars in capital improvements to expand various properties at its Batavia campus.
The board accepted a supplemental application from Graham Manufacturing at the meeting, with a public hearing to be held.
The board also accepted an application for incentives from the Sanborn based business Wendt Propane. Tax exemptions of approximately $125,000 to build a new 9,600 square foot facility in the town of Le Roy, which would create four new construction jobs.

The centennial of the Upton Monument is being celebrated this weekend.
The monument which pays tribute to Upton and the military service of men and women in Genesee County at the juncture of routes 5 and 63 is being celebrated with a ceremony Saturday morning marking 100 years since its construction.
