…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS MORNING TO 1 AM EST THURSDAY…
* WHAT…Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of up to four tenths of an inch expected. Greatest ice accumulation likely to the north of the Niagara Escarpment.
* WHERE…Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Northern Erie, and Genesee counties.
* WHEN…From 7 AM this morning to 1 AM EST Thursday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the ice. Travel could be extremely difficult, especially the evening commute.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Periods of freezing rain will result in slick roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
