Gas prices are continuing to rise in Western New York. According to Triple A, the average cost for a gallon of regular gas is two-68. That’s a two cent increase in the last week and 21 cent jump in the last month.
In Batavia, gasoline prices are up four cents a gallon since last week.
The lowest prices we found was $2.69 a gallon at the Sunoco on West Main.
Gas Buddy.com reported a price on the reservation in Basom $2.22 a gallon.

A Bergen couple has a date in city court for allegedly trying to smuggle drugs into the Genesee County Jail.
Deputies say 31 year old Amethyst McCracken conspired with inmate Aaron Heale  to get drugs into the lock-up.

Also on the Bad Boys / Bad Girls report:
23 year old Juaquin Davis of East Main Street broke into the home of a a person he was ordered to stay away from.
Davis is charged with Burglary and criminal contempt and locked on 5-thousand dollars bail.

18 year old Jordan Rose of Maple Street: Jordon is on probation and when visited by his probation officer, was found with suspected dope.
Rose in behind bars now in lieu of $1,500 bail.

It’s going to a busy week for state lawmakers as the budget deadline gets closer.
They have until the end of New York’s fiscal year on March 31st to reach a deal with Governor Cuomo.
Yesterday, he said any budget deal must include a permanent property tax cap.
There’s also debate on issues like criminal justice reform and campaign finance reform.
