Weather watches and warnings for Genesee County have been lifted as the high winds that swept across the region overnight have sub sided.
Winds are now out of the west at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
National Grid reports fewer than 100 customers in Genesee County remain without power and service is now being restored rapidly.

A Genesee County Court jury has acquitted an Elba man of child sex abuse charges.
35 year old Mark Tooley of Oak Orchard Road, Elba, was not guilty of having sexual contact with a child under 13.
The charges had stemmed for a reported incident last December in Stafford.
The trial lasted most of this week and concluded with the jury’s innocent verdict late yesterday.

The county’s Economic Development Center has approved tax breaks for a 9 and a half million dollar project in LeRoy.
Wright Associates had asked for 850-thousand dollars in mortgage, sales and property tax exemptions.
Wright Associates is a beverage distribution company based in Rochester. They plan to build out a new facility in LeRoy and create 125 new jobs.

From the county highway department a note for Town of Alabama motorists:
Bloomingdale Road between Wright Road and Tensow Road in Alabama will be closed through Dec. 6.
The road will NOT be passable for regular traffic or emergency vehicles.
The highway department says notifications will be given once the road has re-opened.

High School Football playoff action continues tonight on WBTA.
The undefeated Fighting Irish of Notre Dame take on Bolivar-Richburg tonight. Kick-off is 5pm. The game can be heard lives on WBTA.
Tomorrow, the LeRoy Knights meet East Rochester Gananda . Game time: 4pm tomorrow. This game is also on WBTA AM, FM and online.
