GCC Athletics Update: Men’s Soccer

The Genesee Community College men’s soccer team extended its win streak to four games with a 6-3 road win at Cayuga Community College Sept. 30.
Hiago Barros de Souza led the Cougars with a pair of goals and a four-point afternoon.
Three other Genesee players finished with three points with one goal and one assist each from Ed Port, Sam Hall and Rodrigo Albuquerque.
Philip Melo added a pair of helpers, while James Lighton added one goal and Hijiri Sano one assist to round out the score sheet.
Matthies Meyer registered the win in net with three saves.
Genesee faces Jamestown on the road Oct. 3, before returning home to face Herkimer Oct. 6 at 3 p.m.
