Juvenile Charged in LeRoy School Threat

The Le Roy Police Department, after consulting with the Assistant County Attorney is announcing today that they will be charging a juvenile with Falsely Reporting an Incident in the 3rd Degree in connection with a threat involving the Le Roy Central Schools last Friday.
It is alleged that the juvenile sent a SnapChat message threatening harm to students and a parent of one of the message recipients contacted the Safe School Helpline to advise them of the threat.
The matter will be referred to the Genesee County Family Court for further action.
