Multi-vehicle Accident Blocks Thruway

A multiple vehicle accident on the New York State Thruway has blocked all eastbound lanes between Transit Road in Depew to exit 48A in Pembroke.
An estimated 20 to 25 cars are involved.
Authorities report that they have been injuries.
Eastbound traffic on the Thruway must get off at Exit 50, the Williamsville Toll.
The 1-90 westbound is now closed at Exit 48-A.
