Orleans County man arrested over twice the legal limit after allegedly leaving the scene of an accident in Leroy.
26 year old Candido Candelaria of East State Street Albion was apprehended following report of a hit and run in Leroy yesterday afternoon.
Candelaria recorded a Blood Alcohol Content over twice the legal limit and was charged with felony Aggravated DWI for having 2 prior convictions within the past 10 years along with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Consuming Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle.
He is being held on $5,000 bail and is scheduled to appear Monday in Leroy Town Court.
