Police have identified the man killed when struck by a car in Livonia.
62 year old David Clements died last night when he was hit by a car as he walked in the roadway of Main Street in Livonia.
Witnesses at the scene performed CPR on Clements, but it was not enough to save him.
No charges have been placed against the driver.

Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul will join Governor Cuomo on the November ballot.
She was able to defeat fellow Democrat and New York City Councilman Jumaane Williams in that party’s primary.
The former Western New York congresswoman has been with the Cuomo administration since January 2015.

A rough landing at the Genesee County airport ends without injury.
A Navajo twin-engine aircraft landed on its belly yesterday afternoon when its landing gear failed to deploy.

Two men are dead following a boating accident in Alden.
Troopers say 62-year-old Paul Nowak and 71-year-old Russell Bolognese were fishing in a rowboat when craft overturned.
Even though witnesses quickly pulled the men from the water, they couldn’t be saved.
Neither man was wearing a life jacket.
