O-A/Elba enters Friday night undefeated at 2-0, continuing an impressive start after winning just one game a season ago.

There’s a long way to go, but the Aggies have already shown that 2026 could be a very different season.

Standing in their way this week is a familiar Class D opponent.

Attica comes in at 1-1, and if last year’s meeting between these teams is any indication, expect this one to be competitive right down to the finish.

A year ago, Attica and O-A/Elba went down to the wire.

Now they meet again with both teams looking to establish themselves in what should be another competitive Class D race.

For O-A/Elba, it’s a chance to move to 3-0 and continue one of the strongest early-season turnarounds in Section V.

For Attica, it’s an opportunity to hand the Aggies their first loss and pick up an important Class D victory on the road.
