🏈 WBTA GAME OF THE WEEK: A CLASS D SHOWDOWN UNDER THE LIGHTS 🏈
Two 3-1 teams. Two local programs. One huge Thursday night matchup.

📻 WBTA Game of the Week
We’re getting into the heart of the season, and this one could have major implications in the Section V Class D race.
Notre Dame/Byron-Bergen enters at 3-1 after a strong start to the fall, while Oakfield-Alabama/Elba has been one of the early-season turnaround stories in Section V.
After winning just one game all of last season, O-A/Elba has already tripled that total and enters Thursday night at 3-1, looking to prove its resurgence is here to stay.
On the other side, Notre Dame/Byron-Bergen has continued building on the momentum it created during last year’s postseason run and once again finds itself right in the middle of the Class D conversation.
Now, two teams with identical records collide in a matchup that could tell us a lot about where the Class D race is headed.
3-1 vs. 3-1.
Two programs separated by only a short drive.
And a big one under the Thursday night lights.

🏈 WBTA GAME OF THE WEEK: UNBEATEN. UNBLEMISHED. UNAVOIDABLE. 🏈
This is the one everybody in Class C has been waiting for.
🔥 Le Roy/Cal-Mum (4-0) at Alexander/Pembroke (4-0)

📻 WBTA Game of the Week
Two undefeated teams.
Two legitimate Class C contenders.
And by Saturday afternoon, only one of them will still have a zero in the loss column.
Le Roy/Cal-Mum has rolled to a 4-0 start, looking every bit like one of the teams to beat in Class C with experience, balance and one of the strongest returning cores in Section V.
Alexander/Pembroke has matched them step for step.
The Trojans are also 4-0, continuing to show why they entered the season with championship expectations of their own.
Now they collide in one of the biggest games of the regular season.
This isn’t just another game on the schedule.
It’s a measuring-stick matchup.
It’s two teams with championship ambitions getting a chance to see exactly where they stand.
And with the Class C postseason picture beginning to take shape, this one could carry major weight when seeding time arrives.
4-0 Le Roy/Cal-Mum.
4-0 Alexander/Pembroke.
Something has to give.
