Man Arrested in Theft of Guns

A Batavia man is accused of possessing several guns that police say were recently stolen from the Firing Pin shooting range in Bergen.
20 year old Morgan Coles is charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the First Degree for allegedly possessing 10 or more firearms.
Coles is being held in the county jail without bail.
His arrested followed a search of his Jackson Street home where police said the weapons were located, all matching those taken from the Firing Pin last Thursday night.
At the time, lawmen said a total of 14 guns were reported stolen.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office worked the case along with Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
