Batavia was dealt their first defeat of the season, spoiling their shot to become New York State Class B Champions.
The Blue Devils lost 55 to 32 against Glens Falls during Saturday’s Championship game inside the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.

Thruway traffic suffers in Sunday night pile up.
A call came in at around 6 o’clock last night reporting a four-vehicle accident in the eastbound lane of the Thruway in Batavia with unknown injuries.
East Pembroke Fire and Mercy EMS were called out and shortly after a second ambulance was requested for non-emergency response.
The Pembroke Fire Chief requested the eastbound lane of the Thruway be shut down at the Pembroke exit.
The traffic was reportedly backed up to Route 77.
Visitor from the State Capital busted in Batavia for allegedly driving with drugs and drinking.
21 year old Isaiah Petty of Albany was taken into custody early Saturday morning after being stopped on Main Street in the city.
Petty is charged with Drinking Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and was released with an appearance ticket for December 18th in Batavia City Court.
Nate McMurray will announce today the next step he’ll take in the 27th Congressional District race.
The Democrat said last week he wouldn’t concede due to what he called irregularities in the voting process.
Election officials said after absentee ballots were tallied that it was mathematically impossible for McMurray to beat Republican Congressman Chris Collins.
It’s not clear what action McMurray may be planning.

Tempers were flaring in Buffalo but the Bills hung on to top the Jaguars 24-21 at New Era Field.
Josh Allen ran for the go-ahead touchdown to open the fourth quarter and put Buffalo up for good.
He also threw a 75-yard touchdown pass to Robert Foster in the first quarter.
Bills defensive end Shaq Lawson and Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette were each ejected after a scuffle ensued late in the third.
Fournette ran for 95 yards and two touchdowns before departing. Buffalo won its second straight to get to 4-and-7.
