A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at midnight tonight.
The National Weather Service is predicting occasional lake effect snow accumulating 4 to 7 inches in the most persistent snows.
Winds could gust up to 35 miles per hour.
Right now the advisory is for all of Genesee County and the northern portion of Erie County and remains in effect until 7 tomorrow night.

A shoplifting incident at J C Penney in the City Centre mall injures a woman as the suspect was trying to flee.
Batavia Police searched for the suspect they described as a black man, with a black backpack and camo pants.
Police said as the suspect was fleeing the store he knocked over an elderly woman who was there shopping.
She suffered a hip injury and was taken to the hospital.
The suspect is still at large.

A 14-year-old Rochester girl who went missing is safe after her disappearance triggered an AMBER Alert. Police say Joanna Coates was found in Brooklyn. The man accused of kidnapping her, 41-year-old Robert Gonzalez, was arrested. Investigators say they’re looking into whether Coates and Gonzalez were involved in a relationship.

Independent Living Center is moving.
The agency is relocating from 113 Main St to a new office in the Crickler Business Center on West Main, the old Pepsi distribution facility.
The agency and its 18 employees will be begin operations in their new location on January 2nd.
The agency helps those with disabilities.
