Le Roy police are looking for a suspect following several car break-ins.
Officials say a man was caught on surveillance cameras going through several vehicles on Robbins Road Wednesday morning.
Police say he targeted vehicles whose doors were unlocked, and he was able to steal thousands of dollars’ worth of items.

Bergen man busted in high speed chase through the city.
29 year old Robert Redinger of Dublin Road in Bergen is facing a litany of charges following a hot pursuit by City Police officers around Batavia.
Redinger was eventually taken into custody in the early morning Saturday after running out gas on Harvester Ave.
He was allegedly found to be intoxicated and in possession of drugs and was charged with DWI by combined drugs and alcohol, Reckless Driving, Unlawful Fleeing of a Police Officer along with multiple counts of Speeding, and various other traffic infractions picked up in the car chase.
Redinger was ordered to be held in the Genesee County Jail pending his next court appearance.
Accident in Batavia leads to lock up for a Basom man.
36 year old Ranelle Reuben of Judge Road Basom is accused leaving the scene of an accident after striking another vehicle without having a license and while being intoxicated.
Reuben was accused of following too closely in the accident which occurred on West Main Street in Batavia last month.
He was arrested and committed without bail to the Genesee County Jail on charges of DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
Disturbance on Oak Street ends with a city resident in lock up.
28 year old George Hodges of Batavia has been arrested and charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration and Harassment following police response to a disturbance call from an Oak Street address.
He allegedly physically interfered with police during their investigation and was ultimately jailed in lieu of $1,000 bail.
A Hutchins Place Woman busted for drugs after falling asleep at the wheel.
Police in Batavia were called to a State Street address in the City for a complaint reporting a person who was slouched over the steering wheel.
Officers located 41 year old Billie Harper of Hutchins Place asleep in her vehicle at the intersection of Washington Ave and State Street.
Subsequent investigation determined she was allegedly impaired and in possession of a both a controlled substance and marijuana.
Harper was arrested and charged with DWAI by Drugs, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Pot and a vehicle infraction for having a cracked windshield.
She was released with an appearance ticket for City Court on January 15th.
Sheriff Sergeant Bradley Mazur has been appointed the new undersheriff for Genesee County.
Mazur is a 20 year veteran of the sheriff’s office.
He takes over for former Undersheriff Greg Walker who retired at the end of the year.
Undersheriff Mazur is a Batavia native and holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
