Undersheriff Bradley Mazur

Genesee County Sheriff William Sheron today talked about his selection of Sgt. Bradley Mazur as his undersheriff.
Mazur is a 20 year veteran of the sheriff’s office.

Undersheriff Mazur lives in Batavia. He is married and the father of three boys aged 9 to 18.

Le Roy police are looking for a suspect following several car break-ins. Officials say a man was caught on surveillance cameras going through several vehicles on Robbins Road Wednesday morning.
Police say he targeted vehicles whose doors were unlocked, and he was able to steal thousands of dollars’ worth of items. If you have any information, police want to hear from you.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer says there is only one person to blame for the partial government shutdown and that is President Trump. The New York Democrat reiterated that a border wall would be ineffective, but his political party is for increased border security.
The Trump Administration says lawmakers from both parties are invited back to the White House today to continue negotiations.

Jeff Skinner is continuing to carry the Buffalo Sabres on his back. He scored twice last night as the Sabres beat the Florida Panthers 4 to 3 at KeyBank Center. Skinner now has 28 goals and the Sabres are just three victories away from matching their win total from last season. Sabres captain Jack Eichel missed the contest with an upper-body injury. He’s expected to be out at least one more game.
