UPDATE: Winter Storm Warning and Wind Chill Advisory

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST THIS EVENING…
WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 PM EST MONDAY…
* WHAT…Heavy snow and blowing snow. Very cold wind chills
expected. Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches. Winds
gusting as high as 35 mph. Wind chills as low as 20 below zero
expected.
* WHERE…Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Northern Cayuga, and Genesee
counties.
* WHEN…For the Winter Storm Warning, until 6 PM EST this
evening. For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 6 PM this evening
to 7 PM EST Monday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The worst conditions will be through this
morning. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The cold
wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little
as 30 minutes.
