A truck driver in Elba is busted for driving without the proper license and in possession of pot.
55 year old Christian Boyce of Watson Road Elba was subject to a traffic stop on North Byron Road in Elba Saturday night.
Boyce was taken into custody on both an arrest warrant and a bench warrant out of Elba Town Court and was allegedly operating the tractor trailer without a license while in possession of marijuana.
He was charged with counts including Unlawful Possession of Pot, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and operating an Unregistered Motor vehicle.
Boyce was remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of bail with his next court appearance scheduled for February 20th in Elba Town Court.
Accident in Pembroke ends in arrest for a Tonawanda man.
Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies took 35 year old Daniel Geller into custody following a property damage accident on Main Road in Pembroke just after midnight Saturday into Sunday Morning.
Geller was charged with Aggravated DWI and for failing to use his designated lane.
He was given an appearance ticket returnable to Pembroke Town Court on March 5th.

The National Weather Service has posted the advisory for a portion of Western New York including Genesee, Orleans and Wyoming Counties from 3 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Forecasters have called for snow and mixed precipitation with total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch.
Winds are expected to be gusting as high as 40 mph and may bring down a few tree branches and result in isolated power outages.

The Fentanyl Sanctions Act would also call on foreign drug traffickers to be identified and banned from using American banks.
The U.S. and China are currently negotiating a trade deal and trying to reach an agreement by early next month.
