Speedway in Batavia Robbed

The Batavia Police Department investigated a robbery at Speedway Gas Station located at 204 W. Main St, Batavia, NY. The robbery occurred on 02/26/2019 at approximately 9:55 PM. No weapon was displayed and no one was hurt.
Through the investigation, Daryl Leach, age 37, of State St., Batavia, NY, was identified as the suspect of the robbery. Leach allegedly made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Leach is currently on parole.
Leach was located and taken into custody at an address on Swamp Rd. in Bergen by NYS Parole, assisted by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office. There are no other suspect(s) as it appeared Leach acted alone.
