Local Girls Basketball Teams Out of State Tournament

The hard wood of Buffalo State College was not kind to the girls from Genesee County.
The Oakfield-Alabama Hornets and Elba Lady Lancers ended their seasons Saturday afternoon in hard fought contests against their Section VI counterparts.
In the Class D Far West Regional Franklinville defeated Elba 42 to 39.
In the Class C Far West Regional Maple Grove defeated Oakfield-Alabama 44 to 38.
Both Elba and Oakfield-Alabama won their Section V titles.
