Search continues for a missing Indian Falls man.
Members of local law enforcement and firefighters have formed a search and rescue team deployed to find 58 year old Mark Dibble of Indian Falls.
Dibble’s family reported to emergency services that he did not show up for work yesterday.
Genesee County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Brian Frieday said they received a call right around 4:21 p.m…

Mark is 5′ 11″ tall and 230 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes and had on work boots and jeans.
He was last seen at 6 a.m. yesterday morning at his mother’s house on Alleghany Road and his truck is still in her driveway.
Chief Deputy Frieday said they will make a decision this morning about how, when, and where to continue the search.

All eight public school districts in Genesee County had annual elections yesterday.
In all districts, school budgets for the coming year were passed.
Batavia City Schools are the largest district in the county. The proposed budget for next year totals 50.5-million dollars and carries a 2.9% increase in the tax levy.
In addition to the budget, two board of education seats were decided.
Alexander Central passed a budget that increases the tax levy by 1.5% ; Byron-Bergen the tax levy increase is 2.9%; Elba’s tax levy increase is 2%; LeRoy Central proposes a 2.9% tax levy increase; Oakfield-Alabama Schools the tax levy increase is 1%; Pavilion Central: the tax Levy up 1.9% and in the Pembroke Central Schools there is a 2% increase in the tax levy.
In all cases, the tax levy increase is below the state tax cap.

Byron man busted for burglary.
Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies took 30 year old Peter Gravante Jr. of Swamp Road into custody on felony counts of Burglary and Grand Larceny along with a misdemeanor count of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle following investigation into a burglary on Townline Road in Byron Monday evening.
Gravante was accused of forcefully entering the residence through a window and stealing a welder from the garage, keys to a vehicle in the driveway and ultimately taking off in the vehicle from the residence.
The stolen property has since been recovered by lawmen and Gravante was jailed in lieu of bail.

Erie County Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy is laying out his vision for the future of the GOP in New York State.
In Albany yesterday, Langworthy said his priorities will include taking back control of the state Senate and getting the party’s message out to more voters.
Langworthy will replace current state Republican Chairman Ed Cox, who is leaving the post to work on President Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign.
Langworthy will be officially elected to his new job in July.

Some Buffalo Sabres fans will have to reach deeper into their wallets to watch the team play next season.
According to The Buffalo News, season ticket holders will pay an average of two-point-four percent more to see games at KeyBank Center.
Officials say they weighed several factors when determining the increase including price level, seat location and how the team is performing.
The Sabres haven’t made the playoffs in eight years.
