Buffalo man jailed for sex abuse at Six Flags in Darien.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of 23 year old Terrill Cunningham of Treehaven Ave in Buffalo on counts of Sexual Abuse in both the first and second degree along with Forcible Touching following investigation into an incident at Six Flags Darien Lake.
Cunningham is accused of forcibly touching the intimate parts of two individuals less than fourteen years old at the amusement park Thursday evening.
He was arraigned in Darien Town Court late last night and was remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
Cunningham is set to appear back in court on Tuesday July 30th.

Detectives attempt to piece facts together for jurors in Liberty Street trial.
Batavia Police Department detectives tried connecting the bludgeoning death of 47 year old Raymond Morgan to Richard Hanes, the man accused of murdering Morgan in his Liberty Street home last July.
Detectives Eric Hill and Thad Mart testified saying lab tests detected Hanes’s DNA on a baseball hat below Morgan’s bedroom window, and that Morgan’s DNA began to be collected throughout the city following his death including some DNA that was swabbed from a handlebar grip of Hanes’s bicycle and a hammer on the roof of an Ellicott Street house.
Detectives suspect Hanes may have thrown the alleged murder weapon before pedaling back to Thorpe Street.
Jurors also listened as Hill reassembled a text conversation between Morgan and Hanes from the fatal night last July in which Hanes told Morgan that he was going to pay him $395 dollars that he owed him minutes before Batavia PD was called.
Hanes faces life in prison if convicted of second-degree murder. Defense attorney Frederick Rarick will have the opportunity to cross-examine detective Mart this afternoon.

The Batavia City School District Foundation is announcing their Engraved Brick Campaign at VanDetta Stadium at Woodward Field.
The bricks will be located in front of the weight room and will be a “River Red” color.
Each brick with engraving is $100 and all engravings will be approved by the BCSD Foundation.
Order forms are available on the BCSD Foundation website bataviacsd.org or at the Batavia City School District’s Instructional Services’ office at 260 State Street, Batavia.
Orders received by the first of September will be installed this fall.

Governor Cuomo has signed legislation aimed at protecting New Yorkers from data breaches like the one Equifax experienced two-years ago.
The SHIELD Act puts stricter guidelines in place for companies that handle private data, requiring that they properly inform consumers in the case of a data breach.
In addition, credit reporting agencies are required to offer identity theft prevention and protection services to anyone affected by such a breach.
This week, New York joined in on an over 19-million-dollar settlement with Equifax, as eight-and-a-half-million New Yorkers were impacted by the 2017 breach.

The race for first-place in the Pinckey Division of the New York-Penn League got interesting on Thursday night as West Virginia scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to down the Batavia Muckdogs, 4 to 3.
Batavia is now in first place at 24-16 and West Virginia is 21-17, taking 2-of-3 from the Muckdogs.
Batavia returns home for three games tonight, Saturday and Sunday against the Williamsport Crosscutters.
