An Albion man has been arrested on multiple felony charges for allegedly firing a rifle into a Town of Carlton sports bar.
The incident happened around 11:30 last night at Roadies Pizzeria and Sports Bar on Oak Orchard Road.
State Police say 52 year old Scott Foley of Albion fired his Stag Arms rifle from his car into the restaurant.
No one was injured. Troopers say Foley was drunk and taken into custody without incident.
The weapon was recovered, Foley has been jailed on $100,000 bail.
Keep your car locked, especially when parked overnight. That’s the advice from the Genesee county Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say they have received several complaints over the past week involving the theft of vehicles and articles left in vehicles parked in private driveways and lots. The thefts have occurred mainly during overnight hours.
A special prosecutor has been appointed to handle the drunken driving arrest of Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb.
Kolb was arrested Tuesday night after crashing his state-issued SUV near his home in the Town of Victor.
Students at Albion schools noticed an increased police presence on campus today
The police department said the move was made following an investigation into social media posts indicating there may be violence at the school
A closer look into those messages revealed there was no evidence anyone’s safety could be in danger.
Back in November, three students were charged with making a threat against Albion Middle School.
The Buffalo Bills take a step towards the franchise’s first Super Bowl title this weekend. They’ll be visiting the Houston Texans in the AFC Wild Card game. The Bills were 10 and six this season, while the Texans won the AFC South with an identical record. The Bills haven’t won a postseason game since 1995. Kickoff for tomorrow’s contest is set for 4:35 pm.
