There are no more games to save it for.

No more worrying about next week.

Win, and your season continues. Lose, and it’s over.

Third-seeded Oakfield-Alabama/Elba has put together one of the biggest turnarounds in Section V this fall and has earned the opportunity to open the postseason on its home field.

Across from them will be a dangerous sixth-seeded Notre Dame/Byron-Bergen team that knows all about making noise in the postseason.

Just one year ago, the Irish entered sectionals as an underdog before knocking off the No. 1 seed on a last-second Hail Mary during their run to the Class D Championship Game.

Seeds determine where the game is played.

They don’t determine what happens once the ball is kicked off.

Now, two local programs meet with everything on the line and only one of them will earn a spot in the Section V Class D Semifinals.

🎙️ The legendary Bob Brown has the play-by-play alongside Pete Zehler on color commentary.
