This week’s WBTA Pet of the Week is JJ, a cat with plenty of personality and an impressive ability to make his presence known at the most inconvenient possible times.
JJ’s name has a special meaning. He was named in honor of his owner’s grandfather, Gerald James, who passed away shortly before JJ joined the family. His name also serves as a play on the name of the family’s former cat, CC.
JJ has developed quite a list of favorite activities. He enjoys suddenly running across his owner’s chest at inconvenient moments, “photosynthesizing” while stretched out in the sunlight, and meowing at exactly the worst possible time. He’s also a big fan of getting his chin rubbed and, despite repeatedly being told not to, occasionally enjoys scooting his butt across the carpet.
JJ is the only cat in the house, which means he doesn’t have to worry about sharing the spotlight—or the attention—with anyone else. When it comes to food, JJ enjoys his meals from Genesee Feeds.
From his questionable timing to his love of sunshine and chin rubs, JJ keeps life entertaining and has certainly earned his spot as this week’s WBTA Pet of the Week.
