WBTA is turning up the volume on live music with a brand-new feature, The Encore with Steven J. Airing Fridays at 5 p.m., the show takes listeners beyond the stage and into the full concert experience at some of Western New York’s biggest live music venues, including Darien Lake Amphitheater and CMAC.

Hosted by Steven J. Pies, The Encore is more than just a concert review. Each week, Steven will attend major shows throughout the summer concert season, offering firsthand insight into the performances, production, atmosphere, and overall fan experience. From legendary rock acts and country superstars to today’s hottest touring artists, he’ll break down what made each show memorable—and whether it lived up to the hype.

But the spotlight won’t be limited to the performers. Steven will also be talking with concertgoers before and after the show, capturing the excitement, stories, and reactions of the fans who make every concert unique. Whether it’s a lifelong fan seeing their favorite band for the tenth time or someone attending their very first live show, The Encore brings those voices to the airwaves.
