Batavia Downs has announced the headliners for its Friday night concert series this summer.
The concerts begin on June 22nd when Eddie Money makes a return appearance followed by Grand Funk Railroad the following week.
Downs’ President Henry Wojtaszek says the success of last summer’s concerts has allowed for the expansion of this year’s series:

The lineup also includes a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, 60’s rock band, Three Dog Night and country music star Lee Ann Womack.
Also appearing Blue Oyster Cult, Rik Emmett of Triumph and Puddle of Mudd.
UMMC is moving its LeRoy Urgent Care facility.
The clinic will move to 3 Tountas Avenue by this spring.
The existing UMMC Urgent Care on Lake Street in LeRoy will close tomorrow, although diagnostic services will continue.
UMMC’s Urgent Care on Bank Street in Batavia will be available during the transition in LeRoy.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office will offer a La Enforcement Academy this summer.
It’s for teenagers interested in a career as a police officer.
The academy will run for one and be held at Byron-Bergen Central School.

Craft beer is becoming big business in New York. The state now has 400 breweries, which Governor Cuomo says makes New York the leader in the nation’s craft beer industry. You can find breweries throughout the state but the Hudson Valley has the most with 63.
The Eli Fish Brewing Company is opening on Main Street in Batavia next month.
Resurgence Brewing has also proposed a tavern on Ellicott Street.
