Genesee Baseball Hosts Upcoming Skills Camps

BATAVIA, NY… Genesee Cougars baseball will be hosting two skills camps coming up on Saturday, February 23 and March 2 on the Batavia campus of Genesee Community College. The camps will take place inside the Richard C. Call Arena from 11am-2pm.

The cost for the upcoming skills camps is $80 for both sessions. Each camper will receive an official Genesee Community College Cougars Baseball hat. The camp will cover skills development from every area of the game and will give each camper an idea of what it’s like to play college baseball. The camp is for ages 8-18 and will match campers up with skill development depending on players ability.

If anyone is interested in saving a spot for the two upcoming camps offered by Genesee baseball, email Head Coach Skip Sherman at ssherman@genesee.edu.
This past weekend, Genesee baseball hosted the US Baseball Academy at the Richard C Call Arena. The camp saw over 160 young, future baseball stars participate. The camp involved players from throughout the Genesee community aged 8-18 and at all different levels.

“We have enjoyed working with US Baseball Academy for several years now and it is great to see the camp grow each year”, comments Genesee Head Coach Skip Sherman. “Our players enjoy working with the young players and they do a great job improving their fundamentals and improving their skills”.
