Genesee Rolls on Sophomore Day

BATAVIA, NY… The no.8 Genesee Community College men’s lacrosse team earned their third home victory of the season after a 20-2 victory over the Tompkins Cortland Community College Panthers Thursday afternoon.

Austin Palmer led the way for Genesee with five goals on the afternoon. Samuel Koczwara scored four goals. Jason Chiodo scored three goals. Darcey Redeye scored twice. Other goal scorers for Genesee include Kyle Isaacs, Henry Reber, Timothy Martino and Zach Wade.

Lincoln Potter, Brandon Moore, Max Henchbarger, Cody Chanthavong and Jalen Lee all split time between the pipes for Genesee.

The Cougars (5-4) are back on the field Saturday afternoon at 1pm as they travel to Herkimer College and play the Generals.
