Men’s Lacrosse NJCAA National Championship Information Announced for May 12-13

The National Junior College Athletic Association announced its semifinal seedings for the NJCAA National Men’s Lacrosse Championship hosted by Onondaga Community College at the Charles R. Wilber Field at Lazer Stadium, May 12-13.

Genesee received the third seed and will play the second-seeded Nassau Community College Lions (Garden City, NY), Saturday, May 12 at 3:30 p.m. The Lions have a record of 13-1.

If Genesee is victorious against Nassau, they would then face the winner of top-seeded Onondaga Community College (Syracuse, NY) and fourth-seeded Howard Community College (Columbia, Md.), who play prior to Genesee also on Saturday, May 12 at 1 p.m.

The semifinal winners would face one another for the NJCAA National Men’s Lacrosse Championship title game, Sunday, May 13 at 1 p.m.

The 12-2 Cougars return to the ‘Final Four’ for the seventh time in the last eight years and hope to reclaim to its national championship status from a couple of seasons ago.

General admission to semifinal contests is $5, while general admission for the championship game is $10. All three games (two semifinals and one championship) will be televised by NJCAA TV.
