Genesee County Board of Elections: Registration Deadline

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
The General Election will be held on November 6, 2018. Polls open at 6:00 AM and close at 9:00 PM.
The last day to register in person at the Genesee County Board of Elections, which is located on the 3rd floor of County Building 1, 15 Main St., Batavia NY for the November 6th General Election is October 12th. Mail registrations must be postmarked by October 12th and received at Board of Elections no later than October 17th. If you have been honorably discharged from the military or have become a naturalized citizen since Oct. 14th you have until October 29th. The last day to make a change of party enrollment is also October 12th.
Applications for absentee ballots must be postmarked by October 30, 2018. November 5, 2018 is the last day to apply in person for an absentee ballot at the Board of Elections. November 5, 2018 is the last day to post mark a General Election absentee ballot and must be received by the county board no later than November 13, 2018. November 6th is the last day to deliver a General Election ballot in person to the County Board of Elections, by close of polls.
The hours at the Genesee County Board of Elections are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, but we also offer extended hours as we approach Election Day to accommodate the voting public. Extended hours are as follow;
• Monday October 22nd, Tuesday October 23rd, Monday October 29th and Tuesday October 30th the office will be open until 7:00 PM
• Saturday October 27th and Saturday November 3rd the office will be open from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
