Odom Bail Increased

Antwan Odom
17 year old Antwan Odom of Batavia remains in the Genesee County Jail this afternoon, his bail increased to $50,000 cash.
Odom is charged with Attempted Assault and weapons possession following a fight on Ross Street over the weekend.
During the fracas, police say Odom used a sharp object to cut his friend and neighbor, 18 year old Ray Leach.
Both Odom and Leach are star athletes at Batavia High School.
Leach suffered at least 10 wounds, some requiring stiches. He was treated at Strong Memorial Hospital and is now at home.
Odom was jailed since Saturday night. He appeared in court this afternoon when his bail was increased from $15,000 to $50,000 cash.
Odom has a felony DWI charge pending in Orleans County.
