Oxbo is officially opening the doors to its new advanced manufacturing facility in Bergen. The company will celebrate the grand opening Thursday at the new 200,000-square-foot site, which will serve as a major production center for harvesters used in crops like seed corn, sweet corn, green beans and peas.
The new Bergen location replaces Oxbo’s former Byron operations and is expected to house around 250 employees in manufacturing, engineering, training and administrative roles.
Company leaders say the move will help improve efficiency, boost innovation and strengthen customer support across North America. The site features laser-based fabrication, welding, finishing systems, mixed-model assembly lines, a product showroom and an outdoor test track for demonstrations and training.
State and local officials, community partners, customers and retired employees were expected to take part in Thursday’s ribbon cutting and facility tours.
Oxbo says it is also continuing to hire in Bergen as it expands its presence in Western New York.
